One of the best Latin American films I’ve seen in a long time.

I didn’t really have any idea on the background story, I was just scrolling through the foreign section on Netflix when this was suggested to me. At first I didn’t have the slight interest since I don’t really care much for gang movies. However, it is critically acclaimed so I decided to give it a shot.

And though the story is fiction, it was very deep and quite accurate when it came to the struggles of immigrants and Mexican gangs. The cinematography is absolutely amazing and so is the directing. Definitely a movie I would recommend.
